Mark will provide an insightful presentation on “Arafura – Reshaping the Critical Minerals Supply Chain.”
Australia is in the midst of a renewed push to explore growth opportunities, build capabilities and embrace new technologies in the critical minerals sector. Arafura’s Nolan’s project, which will encompass a mine, process plant and related infrastructure 135 kilometres north of Alice Springs in Northern Territory, has the potential to be a cornerstone of the sector and a significant contributor to supplying the world’s magnet rare earths.
Recognising the economic significance of the project, the Federal Government Department of Industry, Science, Energy & Resources recently announced $30 billion funding within their Modern Manufacturing Initiative to construct Arafura’s separation plant in the Northern Territory.
