QMetco Limited CEO Leadership Luncheon, Brisbane

Join Austmine on Wednesday 14 September 2022 for our CEO Leadership Luncheon in Brisbane with Michael Rosengren, Managing Director, QMetco Limited.

Austmine’s CEO Leadership Luncheons are carefully curated events providing opportunities for senior METS executives to network, connect and participate in higher-level discussions.

Michael’s presentation titled Greenwash, Greenshift, Greener will touch on the mine’s carbon footprint, options and challenges in delivering greener outcomes.

QMetco operate the Foxleigh Joint Venture, a premium PCI metallurgical coal producer, near Middlemount in central Queensland’s Bowen Basin, which is the world’s dominant seaborne metallurgical coal producing region.

Join this event to:

  • Learn more about the contributors to carbon emissions for Scope 1, 2 and 3 at a Queensland coal mine.
  •  Reflect on initiatives and whether they are greenwashing or green-shifting within the current constraints.
  •  Consider that metallurgical coal, rather than being the problem, is a necessary part of the solution.
  • Network with fellow senior industry leaders in an intimate setting.
