Poseidon Nickel is a nickel sulphide exploration and development company with three projects located within a radius of 300km from Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields region of Western Australia and a resource base of around 400,000 tonnes of nickel and 180,000 ounces of gold.
At this event, Peter will provide an overview on the development of nickel sulphide projects in the new nickel environment.

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Poseidon Nickel
Peter is an industrial chemist with a B App Sc Chem for Melbourne University. Peter started his career in oil and gas with Shell then moved into base metals as Marketing Manager of Australian Consolidated Minerals on the Golden Grove copper and zinc mine. His first exposure to nickel was with Mt Keith and then with MPI Mines on the discovery and development of Silver Swan. After a two-year stint on the Cawse project Peter set up Sally Mining/Panoramic Resources which developed the Savannah Nickel project and restarted the Lanfranchi Nickel mine near Kambalda. After 18 years with Panoramic and taking the company to a +$1Billon market cap producing +20,000t nickel per annum Peter left and joined Poseidon in 2020. Peter has been chairman and NED of a number of ASX listed resource companies is currently chairman of Rare Foods Australia, an abalone producer in Augusta.
